In Search of Bluebells

This is one of my favourite times of the year; bluebell season.  The sight and scent of thousands of bluebells carpeting the forest floor is truly impressive, and it’s no wonder that so many people love to take photos of them!

As we arrived at King’s Wood, near Challock in Kent, it was immediately obvious we had come to the right place if we wanted to see bluebells.  We followed the sculpture trail again, a marked path of several miles.  Although there were areas without bluebells – as you will see in the images below – for much of the walk they surrounded us.

As always, feel free to click on any of the images should you wish to take a closer look.
