Dickens Festival 2016

Last weekend, the Dickens Festival returned to the city of Rochester, in Kent.  The Festival celebrates the area’s connection with the author Charles Dickens.  Many people attend in costume and can be seen on the High Street or in the castle area for the three days of the Festival.  There are also street entertainers, stalls and a fun fair in the castle grounds, theatrical and musical performances, and parades.

All of these photographs were taken on Saturday, either during the midday parade or shortly afterwards.
