Reculver, near Herne Bay in Kent, is probably best known for its Towers, dating from the 12th century and once part of a monastic church. In my previous visits to Reculver, they have been my focus too and I have shared photos of them in previous posts (here and here, for example). On my most recent visit, however, I decided to walk away from the Towers and photograph the coastline instead. It was an overcast day, but that gave the light a more interesting quality, and also allowed me to experiment with slower shutter speeds.
Here are three images from the day, arranged in a gallery as usual. Clicking on any of them will open the gallery so you can take a closer look.
