I decided it would be fitting to end my coastal photography project with a sunset, so headed to Minnis Bay yesterday evening. Although, project-wise, it was perhaps not the most successful trip I have had, I certainly enjoyed the sunset. At first it seemed a little underwhelming, but as time passed a gorgeous deep red colour spread across the sky and it developed into one of the most impressive displays I have seen in a long time. Capturing that with the camera proved tricky and I have struggled to do it justice, but this image will give you some indication of the beautiful view that I enjoyed. In the distance, you might just be able to make out Reculver Towers.
